My father entered the currency exchange industry 27 years ago with the vision to facilitate the millions of Pakistani’s working abroad. He realized back then that these hard-working individuals are the backbone of Pakistan’s economy and it is our moral duty towards our country to support them in whatever way we can. Today our country, Pakistan, faces immense financial challenges and we often find ourselves seeking help from other countries and institutions such as the IMF while our own citizens continue to employ illegal channels to transfer roughly $15 billion annually. This is not only a governmental issue but a social issue that we, exchange companies along with the government and other financial institutions have to collectively address. Only if we work together to create awareness regarding this issue and encourage the usage of legal channels to transfer money can we serve the best interest of our country.
